This is.......My unconditional, passionately loved and favourite book!

This weeks This is theme came from my lovely Mother!!!

We have to choose are favourite book... And you can only choose one! Which is hard for everyone who loves to read, but I think it's also a good thing to choose only one thing for a change. We live in a world with too many options and choices, so many in my opinion that we do not see what's really important sometimes...

I chose for Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. It had such a huge impact on me, I can't explain why really... But the maincharachter, a little boy, is so touching... And the whole story is filled with an uncommon innonce, while it's coping with some really heavy issues in our world. The whole view from the maincharachter on the things is so special. I'm not going to tell more about it, you just have to read it and see what's so magical about it. Open it and you will be amazed just by only the layout to start with... I enjoyed every bit of it!

Have a nice Sunday!

So much to tell....

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry I have been away for so long. Thank you for all the sweet comments on my alst post! I will catch up with everyone this week! It has been a bit of a busy time actually. Well not really busy, I have been taking a break for a while because my job ended last month and now I can find a new job. In the time I had a break I did a lot of things with my best friend who is starting a new school soon so we really wanted to see each other as much as possible before that and I'm really happy we did!  Also I have to tell you some good news which I have been busy with lately. It's still not very sure, so I'm still not allowing myself to be too happy and I have to go trough a second screening and a lot of trainings but I am in the running to become a flight attendant!! Which is actually one of my dream jobs! So fingers crossed!

For today I have a new movie of the week to share with you! It's called Into the Wild. I am so exited by this movie. Here is a short description of the movie: After graduating from Emory University in 1992, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life.
It somehow connects with how I feel at the moment. The feeling that I need adventure and discover true beauty in this world. This movie has it all. And when I look at the trailer, I really get this warm and truly happy feeling somehow... It's based on a book I really want to read as well and the book is based on a true story, isn't that amazing? Talking about inspiration! But you should really see the trailer! And so many more beautiful movies are coming...

As for creativity... I really didn't have much inspiration lately. But today I just woke up with new energy and new ideas! I think it's the new job and everything!! And also something VERY VERY VERY exiting that will happen this week but I'm not going to tell you yet  hee hee.... It's about seeing a true inspirational someone....!

Website of the week remains the fox and the child, I still haven't seen the movie because it's not in a cinema near me! Really terrible actually! But I hope it will be soon!

And thank you so much mom for the Award! I will give it away to 5 people soon, first I have to think of who didn't get one yet!

And yesterday we had a lot of fun on my aunts Yvette 50th birthday on the beach! She has a great weblog, check it out!

Hope you have a great great great week with a lot of fun and inspiration and luck!

I leave you with a picture of the photoshopfun I had lately:

This is.... This is what makes me laugh out loud

Poppalina came up with this great theme! Well this one is very difficult for me, not because I never laugh, I laugh ALL the time at the most stupid things...

Of course I can laugh really hard with my mother,  and the four of us can laugh really hard as a family two with each other, but my best friend Martijn is hilarious and we got the exact same type of humour! How rare is that!? He is just sooooo funny!

And this Xbox commercial makes me laugh really hard as well!

It was banned from TV, too bad... It was too violent.... But I really like it actually, especially that song!

I can laugh really hard with a lot of movies, they truly make me happy! Yes... Well.... everything makes me laugh actually!

Have a great FUN laughing Sunday!

This is .... WAS my Sunday lunch.... This great new theme came from Allison from the Lark.

Yes two little fluffy things ate it! And these little "Pygmy puffs" (JK Rowling inspired) are not even finished, they still need little wings!

Today I thought it would be fun showing you my favourite Peter Pan movies! Which are: Hook, Disney's Peter Pan, Peter Pan and Finding Neverland. Particularly the last one is my favourite. It's so incredibly beautiful! I made it movie of the week. But all of them are so nice to watch! I also made a collage to show my love for Peter Pan movies. Hope you enjoy it!

This is.... my collection!

This week the theme for 'This is...' is 'My collection'. A really great one, the theme Hyena in Petticoats (love that name by the way!) came up with! So I wanted to share some pictures of my movie/movie books collection with you! They are all in one IKEA Expedit closet in my room and I can't help the fact that I love looking at that closet and think "Man... I seriously have good taste!" hee hee... how arrogant...And a bit sad I know.... But I actually think lots of people have good taste by the way, so I'm really curious about what you all collect!

I also used to collect Playing cards I found on the street. I loved that. It had a real Alice in Wonderland Edge to it! I wanted to collect whole sets. I even putted them in a little tree for my Exam Art exposition at school. After that I lost most of them, they are just doomed to get lost and they want to fly away I guess... But I also didn't like it that a lot of people did the same thing after they heard it and started asking me 'Do you have a king of hearts? Do you want to trade it?' which was exactly NOT the point! I love to find things people left behind but I found out that I love to leave things behind myself even more:

When my trainticket isn't checked and doesn't have a stamp on it after a check during the ride, I leave it after my trip at the machine where I bought it in the morning and sometimes I wait to see if somebody finds it and see his face when he finds out that he has a free ride! SOOOOO much fun!

Have a great Sunday everybody!

This is...

What scares me!!

That is the theme of this week that Jodie from Ric-Rac came up with. A great theme in my opinion, the only problem is, and that's why I'm late with my post, I'm not really scared of anything!! Does that make me a freak....?? I can't think of something. Well of course there are horrible things that can happen in this world that scare me but little silly things or movies or anything... No, I really don't have such a thing!

So... I was thinking... And I came up with this thing, this puppet from an Interpol videoclip that I really really do not like! I don't like puppets like this, those eyes and mouth... Eek! I like puppets though, but this one gives me the creeps!

Evil_interpol_puppet Terrible isn't it?

Love the 'This is...' idea very much, Angela from the Three Buttons weblog came up with the idea! Great isn't it??!!! There is more information on her weblog.
